Carpal Tunnel Syndrome CTS-6

The CTS-6 is a clinical tool used by some physicians to determine the probability of carpal tunnel syndrome. The combination of patient symptoms and physical exam findings are typically used to make the diagnosis of CTS. In some cases, additional testing can be performed including nerve conduction studies (NCS/EMG) or diagnostic ultrasound. Steroid injections can also be used as a helpful diagnostic tool.
