Thank you for choosing the Raleigh Hand to Shoulder Center! Since 1991 our practice has grown into one of the largest independent specialty practices for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder care in the region. Our board certified orthopedic specialists are fellowship trained in hand and upper extremity care. We will do our best to assist you and your patients.

Urgent Referrals

• We would like to see your patients as soon as possible. We can often accommodate same-day or next-day patient referrals. Please call our office to schedule an urgent referral.  919-872-3171

• If you would like to speak with a hand surgeon please call us at  919-872-3171. We offer phone consultations 24-7, after hours and on weekends and holidays. 

Non-Urgent Referrals

• Please fax your referral to our office at 919-872-6739 . We will typically call your patient within 7-10 days to schedule an appointment with one of our doctors. 

Worker’s Compensation Referrals

• Non-urgent referrals: Please fill out our worker’s compensation request form and fax it to our office at 919-872-6739 .  We usually schedule a new patient appointment within 7-10 days. 
• Urgent referrals: For urgent referrals please call our office at  919-872-3171 to obtain a prompt appointment with one of our doctors. Same-day and next day appointments are often available. 
• We have a worker’s compensation coordinator and billing specialist in our office to assist patients, case managers, and insurance adjusters.
• Special WC Consultations: For Second Opinions, IMEs, and injuries over 60 days, please email our WC coordinator Theressa at theressay@raleighhand.com to request a consultation with one of our doctors.
