About Us
The Raleigh Hand Center (RHC) offers state-of-the-art diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitation services for patients with problems of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. Our center is comprised of five orthopaedic hand surgeons and seven hand therapists with specialized training in upper extremity rehabilitation. Currently, RHC is the largest medical group from the Outer Banks to the foothills of North Carolina dedicated to hand and upper extremity care. Founded in 1988, our center has a strong tradition in the Raleigh community. RHC is an independent medical practice not controlled by an outside institution or hospital.
RHC treats patients with acute injuries such as lacerations, fractures, and sports injuries, and chronic problems such as carpal tunnel syndrome, hand tumors, tendonitis, and arthritis. Raleigh Hand Center serves the Triangle area of North Carolina including Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Garner, Wake Forest, Fuquay-Varina, and Holly Springs, NC. We also treat patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions from eastern North Carolina including Clayton, Smithfield, Fayetteville, Wilson, Kinston, Goldsboro, Lumberton, Wendell, Rocky Mount, Henderson, and Wilmington, among others. For patients with a long drive, we can often coordinate care with a therapist closer to home after just a few visits to Raleigh.
